I like to work one on one with books. I write out examples and explain different ways to approach a problem to help Foster different learning styles. I think it is important to be able to teach when the school systems move from books to tablets for classrooms.
I am a stay at home of a toddler. I am currently getting my associates degree in veterinary technology. I moved to Anniston about a year ago. Before I moved I tutored my brother since kindergarden. He is now in 7th grade. I graduated from Florence High School with an advanced diploma with a B average. I have a passion for science. This also fosters my love for math and English. A Little Bit About Me...

Even before attaining my degree in English from Jacksonville State University I was passionate about all forms of teaching. I have over a year of experience tutoring college students at Jacksonville State University's Academic Center for Excellence and immediately following that nearly another year of experience tutoring dyslexic youths at the Dyslexia Clinic in Oxford, AL. I have experience tutoring biology, english, french, physcohology, and a variety of art and history classes.
Many children struggle with classroom learning because they require a different learning method than the one being offered or more direct attention than a teacher of 20+ students can offer. I enjoy teaching science and critical thinking skills. I like working with all ages, and am flexible with my teaching style based on who I am working with. Again I have been informally tutoring in Sciences for years, both in college with my fellow pre-medical students and throughout high school as well.
