Children energize me, and I thrive on working with students and helping them learn. After almost 30 years of teaching, I have learned that each child has their own individual strengths and weaknesses. I try to encourage them in their strengths in order to help them in their weak areas. I also try to determine their particular learning style and make learning rewarding for my students. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that all students can learn. It is the teacher’s responsibility to teach the standards in the way that the students learn, and to create a nurturing environment for the students. Over the last four years, I have spent countless hours working in classrooms cultivating my ability to meet that responsibility. I have spent time working with students from many different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. I understand that every student is unique and has unique needs, but they are all able to succeed with varying degrees of help. The teacher must be ready to provide that help when necessary and to teach every lesson in a way that embraces all three of the learning styles.

I not only enjoy educating students, I have compassion for students who struggle to succeed. I have learned that every child is unique and all have different learning styles and perhaps, that is why they are struggling with learning some information. I am a strong believe in mulitple intelligences and I strive to help the student learn which is the best way for him or her to learn.
