Certified to teach in elementary ed. and middle school all subjects I have taught kindergarten and elementary ed. also certified in middle school, and english and math,and science in highschool I really enjoyed my teaching in Tupelo, Ms. I needed to stop for awhile while raising and teaching my daughter until she starts school next year. A Little Bit About Me...

I first and foremost believe that every child can learn, and I refuse to entertain any idea that says otherwise. I have found that a constructivist approach works best for most children, and I will always try this approach first. I try to make learning as hands on and relevant to the real world as possible.
I graduated from one of the top teaching schools in the nation (according to NCATE), and have a degree in elementary and special education. I specialized in math education, but am also qualified to teach English, science, and social studies. I have worked with children as young as 2 years old and as old as 15 in a formal setting. I believe that activities for my classes should be student centered, authentic and focused on individual learning styles. I attempt to create an accepting environment and choose activities that connect learning to something my students know or value.
