I was an elementary education major for 2.5 years before following my specific passion to writing and literature in my Junior year to finish up school. Studying French and Russian Studies at Stetson allowed me gain more than a grasp on those two languages, but insight to the cultures, an appreciation for and ability to interpret literature and poetry, a deeper understanding of history, geography, and politics as well as a desire to share all of this with others.
