I am most comfortable teaching with prek-5th grade students, because that is my area of expertise. I love teaching these age groups because they are so impressionable and some of them still have that child like innocence that hasn't been stripped from them yet. I believe that every person AND child should always be told what they are doing WELL as well as what they need to improve on. I make sure never to make the child feel like they did something bad by answering something wrong but to use that as a tool and break it down and simplify it to them so they can relate to it and therefore they will stand a better chance of getting it right in the future by being able to look at it as a common sense thing rather than something they had to memorize.
