I believe that no two students learn alike and the most important thing is to make sure students are having fun with learning. If learning is looked at as boring or hard students will try to avoid it, when learning is fun students learn without realising the work involved. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan in Flint this May, 2008. As a holder of a BS in Chemistry, I have a very strong grasp of science and mathematics, as well as a passion for the written word. I have volunteer experience tutoring my fellow students at Eastwood High School, out of which came two years' of summer tutoring for one of the individuals I helped while volunteering. My methods are amorphous and change to the needs of the student, but typically fall in the range of serious, yet enthusiastic and fun.
