I homeschooled my three daughters for 10 years, right through high school. All three have gone on to Colllege and have excelled, making the Dean's list. In the work world, two have been highly praised for their writing skills. After homeschooling, I began tutoring. I have over 5 years experience and have tutored elementary, middle school, high school, and college students, as well as adults preparing for exams such as the GED. My comments on tutoring Marketing : I have a BS in communications/PR and have corporate comm/PR experience.

I believe in working with students, not talking at them. I ask lots of questions and make sure students retain the information and can apply it to the real world.

I love working with people whether they are adults or children. I have a desire for helping anyone achieve their goal for life. I know how important it is to assist others because I support disabled and special needs individuals, so I have to teach them how to be self sufficient, according to their level of understanding. I feel as though I am highly qualified and competitive for a teaching position because of my abilities to relate to children of all ages. As a volunteer basketball referee at Northside Baptist Church, Upward basketball program since 1998, I work with children between the ages of 7 and 13.
