I enjoy watching learners succeed. I have the ability to diagnose learning weaknesses in a student, effectively plan a course to re mediate the student's learning weakness, implement a set of steps to assist the student to take the weakness and turn it to a strength building upon already mastered skills, and evaluate the success of the student's efforts and move on or re-teach based upon the student's needs. Although I changed majors and ultimately graduated with a BS in Computer Science, I have continued my interest in teaching, first by volunteer tutoring during college and later by helping adults learn to speak English. I eventually took an intensive summer course in teaching English to speakers of other languages, following which I spent over three years teaching conversational English in Central Asia. A Little Bit About Me...
