After completing my education at Brigham Young University-Idaho in the spring of 2003, I was hired to work as an aid at the school where I had done my student teaching. During this year, I worked with students in reading and math lab classes which were designed to help students who were struggling to achieve proficient scores on their ISAT's. I then was hired as a teacher and taught for the next two years in the subjects of reading lab, literature, and language arts. I worked with 6th through 8th grade students, and enjoyed each age and the challenges that come with that time in a student's life.
