My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I have been a teacher for 27 years and have a masters degree in reading although I have taught all subject areas. I have taught grades 2-5.

My style is varied depending on the needs of the student, however, I mostly use tactile/kinesthetic styles with the use of visuals and manipulatives.
I taught third grade for 15 years in Galena Park ISD. I became a content mastery teacher for 2 years. I then taught art for 2 years. I received my masters in reading and became a reading specialst. I have been a reading specialist now for 8 years and I am currently employed by Schertz Cibolo University City ISD.

Hi there! My name is Veda. I am a current high school student with a passion for education. I hope to start my journey by providing affordable tutoring, and eventually becoming an educator. I have completed elementary and middle school levels of Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. Leading into high school, I took Algebra 1, Geometry, Earth Science, and Spanish 1. I firmly believe that you learn best when you're having fun. Once a topic fascinates you, your mind automatically engages more, which helps you remember better. So I work to draw students in by keeping things interesting, using fun examples, humor, and applying things to areas they will actually care about. I want to make you actually WANT to learn.
