A Little Bit About Me...

One of the most interesting aspects of teaching is how different people process information. Oft times it is difficult to find a teaching style or method that can be equally useful to people of different learning types. I have found that teaching methods common to experiential educators, common practice in such disciplines as SCUBA diving, First Aid/CPR, Martial Arts, Art, etc., can be successfully applied to virtually any academic discipline. The process leads the student to the discovery of concepts based on practical demonstrations by the educator with as much repetition as necessary for the student to achieve comfortable mastery.

I am a faster learner, and enjoyed the education that I have received, too several business and computer courses while in college. AAS in Business Management and Certificate Level 1 in Business Administrative. Additionally, I have been trained on Oracle-PeopleSoft v.8.9 in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Purchasing, Order Manament (Sales Orders) and took Accounting 1, have skill sets in Peachtree, MS Excel, and Skill Port via Robert Half Technology within the last five years. A Little Bit About Me...

As an average person, I enjoy teaching children the values and importance of their education while befriending them and understanding where they are in relation to their social-emotional, physical, and educational development.
No two children are the same, and we know that this is correct, so therefore it applies to their learning ability as well. Some children need visual simulation to really ingrain the principle that is trying to be understood. While other's learn by complete repetition.
