For eight years I tutored low-income and first generation university students serviced by the program. By utilizing innovative tutoring techniques, I achieved a high success rate. In fact, several of my students graduated from university with honors, a goal initially thought to be unachievable. Statistics have revealed that only thirty three percent of students graduate from university, a dismal situation to say the least. A Little Bit About Me...

In any area I am able to translate my knowledge or find creative ways to express the concepts so another individual may understand. This ability to articulate ideas comes across in a friendly, excited, fun way. I would never make anyone feel inferior or less than smart in the way I teach. I attribute this to my siblings' personal struggles and a sensitivity to them.
I graduated magna cum laude in art, and excelled in all of my classes. At university you write papers in almost all your classes, not just English, and in every class my professors commented on my writing skills.
