A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently an Indiana University elementary education major! I love working with students and I have been working with all ages ever since I was 11 years old. I started babysitting at 11, and have been working with kids ever since. I was a nanny for three summers, and I have worked at Build-a-Bear workshop. I have been working in classrooms since my freshman year of college, and this past semester I started writing lesson plans.
I feel that I have a very creative teaching style. I believe that every child learns differently! Once getting to know a student, I can come up with lesson plans that are specifically for them.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught at the university level for 4 years and tutored all ages of children and adults for 3 years. The subjects that I have tutored or taught include English, mathematics, and the social sciences (economics, government and history). My MA in International Relations has allowed me to teach political science and writing composition at the university level. In college, I received certifications in teaching English as a Second Language, and I have taught English to foreign students at the university level. As a mathematics minor in college, I also have experience in tutoring mathematics (particularly algebra and geometry) at the college-prep level. Finally, I can also tutor in SAT preparation.
