A Little Bit About Me...

During my time at Ohio University, I excelled in a variety of classes and activities. Most of my interests involve writing. In English Literature and History classes, I wrote complex essays. I also took Journalism courses at OU's prestigious Scripps school, and wrote for the school paper. Outside of class, I have written for professional publications such as SCENE Magazine. After graduating, I traveled to China taught essay writing and ESL at a Chinese university for one year. Each week, I prepared lessons and delivered them to 200 students in an interesting way. I also tutored Chinese English learners in my free time.

During my undergraduate years, some of the areas in which I excelled included: music theory and history, piano pedagogy, psychology, Spanish and English composition (including APA and MLA styles).
