I was employed as a tutor for Kent State University's main campus for a year during the 2012-13 school year. While I was available for a large variety of subjects, I primarily tutored Kent State students in math courses. I only had to leave the position because I was moving out of the area. Each encounter with the students is an assessment for me as well as for the student of me. Positive reinforcement is a good way to keep students on point.
