I have spent the past four years studying the field of education with an added interest in social studies. In May 2010 I will have graduated from BGSU with a BS in Education and a minor in history. I have a deep passion for the social sciences and with that comes with an excitement for reading and writing. I obtained my BS in Business Management from Clemson University in August of 2009. During my time there I was a member of the Varsity Swimming team where I competed against world class athletes within the Atlantic Coast Conference. Balancing life as a student-athlete created a unique and challenging college experience for me. As well as athletic experience, I served as an Assistant to the Director of Community Relations at IPTAY Collegiate Club for 2 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that each child learn differently, and as such, I have found the best way to teach is to cater to each child's individual learning style. In working one-on-one with students, I feel as though it is crucial to build a trusting relationship in which the child feels comfortable stating whether or not the teaching style I am using is working for them.
