My comments on tutoring Accounting : I am a CPA in the state of Ohio. I am teaching accounting at a local college. I have tutored students in accounting.

I want my students to be able to make sense out of concepts. Once they relate to the topic the fundimentals of working with the concepts is more realistic. I general guide the student to help them develope the concepts.
I stated my career as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher in Oberlin Ohio. I taught two years at Beachwood High School, teaching algebra, geometry, physics and calculus. I went back to school to receive my masters in accounting. I work for a large public accounting firm and received by CPA license. From public accounting I started my internal audit career. I consulted many different companies in a variety of industries. I became a Certified Internal Auditor and became president of the local chapter. A Little Bit About Me...

My tutoring experience comes from high school, college and job environments. When it comes to bookkeeping and accounting I discovered a natural ability during my first bookkeeping class in high school. After finishing the course material in half the time, I was allowed to assist other students. In college, I was repeatedly asked by fellow classmates to help them acquire a stronger grasp of the subject matter. When a friend of mine graduated from Trumbull Business College and took her first position as a bookkeeper, I was recruited to guide her with my hands on knowledge of real world accounting. A Little Bit About Me...

Presently, I am a student at Walden University working towards obtaining a Ph.D. in Psychology. Since I had earned my BA’s in Psychology and Accounting, MA in Community Counseling, I firmly believe in the institution of learning. I have a diverse spectrum of knowledge from these disciplines. I had volunteered time at Indian River giving psychological assessments to the youths that were incarcerated. Additional volunteer time was as a Guardian Ad Litem with Stark County Family Court and a volunteer in the Witness Protection Program with the County Prosecutors office. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently received my Business degree from Ohio University. This degree enabled me to learn a wide variety of skills relevant to a number of industries today. I enhanced my grammatical skills due to the various projects and papers I had to complete while working towards my degree. Due to my enrollment in Post Secondary at Kent State University, I was able to graduate in three years. I have realized that my passion is not in Business, it is in helping others and becoming an educator. I am currently furthering my education as a student in the Notre Dame College TEEL program.
