I believe the learning experience should always be an enjoyable one. I use humor from time to time in my teaching. A teacher can make the learning experience more enjoyable and more memorable by injecting humor into certain lessons. This has proved to be very productive, since many of my students have shown that they benefited from my instruction style by asking follow-up questions, clarifying issues in which they have confusion. I earned a teaching degree in Secondary Education in the social studies subject area, after studying at Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. I have worked for ten years in education, with students as young as infants up to high school seniors, and all in between. For the past six years I have worked with ELL (english as a second language) students on the Navajo reservation and on the Mexican border at Nogales, Arizona. My Experience: In 1964, I graduated from Columbia College, in Geology. Subsequently, I worked in oil well drilling in Israel, and on a dam project in New Jersey. After earning an MA in Art Education, at Brooklyn College in 1975, I helped found the Waltham Mass. Artists Association, where I created beautiful enamels, and mentored several child students.
