I try to tailor my style to the student. Each student I had tutored when I was in college I had basically spoke with them, got to learn what they strong points were, their weaknesses, and areas that needed more base learning. I tailored lesson plans to help fill in their educational gaps, created small weekly assignments, and also helped with their current homework/lesson plan. I believe everyone learns in different ways. Some are more visual, others are more auditory so I tried to not only explain but also show by using whatever tools necessary/applicable (graphs, pictures, charts, etc.)

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Southern CT State University in 2007 with a degree in Art Education. I have been teaching or substitute teaching in some capacity since my sophomore year of college. I have been exposed to several reading programs used in NEPA public schools. In addition to classroom experience, I have extensive experience working with students with ASD.
