I believe all children learn at there own style and pace and that we as teachers need to find what works for the child and help them build on their strengths in a positive way.

However I really enjoyed working with children and found that I was good at it. I tend to be really flexible and try to adapt my teaching style to the learning style of the student. For students who tend to be more tactile, I might have them handle apples if a math problem references apples. If a student is working on a writing assignment, I will offer suggestions (such as marking spelling/grammar/punction mistakes) and help them learn how to correct the errors so they won't continue to make the same errors in the future.
