Working with kids is my fascination. I believe that teaching children should not be standing up and lecturing or simply explaining something. Its about getting to know the students, making the students feel important and unique in their own special way and most importantly I believe a teacher should be a role model. The teacher must adjust his or her teaching approach to the way the student will learn what’s being taught to them not the other way around. From the beginnings of my education, I have had a strong sense of personal excellence in my academic career. Being home schooled with the accelerated A Beka curriculum, I was able to outperform many of my peers in the public school system. My early education had given me a particularly strong grasp of grammar, reading comprehension, and writing; my proficiency with these increased by studying Latin and Ancient Greek at Trinity University.
