I taught privately for most of my years of experience. My teaching experience was primarily English one on one and Piano. My tutoring experience has been with learning centers and some private tutoring. This was over a period of more than 10 years. I started with Huntington Learning Center and continued with several other on line tutoring services.
I am patient with children and think they can learn more in a tutoring atmosphere. In the classroom, they do not get the individual attention they may need, so tutoring gives them the time to ask questions and get the attention not provided in the classroom.

My comments on tutoring Composition : I have a Bachelor's degree (with highest honors) from Florida International University and I did all my graduate work (with distinction) at the Univ. of Miami. One of my specialties is English in all its facets. Learning is fun!

I taylor my lessons according to student needs. I prefer the natural exposure to language. Grammar can be incorporated into the lessons and it does not have to be boring . I prefer guided conversation to standard lessons as the best way to learn a new language.
After moving to Miami from Germany in 2006, I've worked and a private tutor of the German language. I'm experienced in teaching elementary school children as well as adults.
