Instruments: Beginning Clarinet, Beginning to Advanced Saxophone, and Jazz Improvisation Qualifications: B.A. Music Performance on Saxophone from the University of West Florida; studied Jazz Improvisation at the Georgia State University. In addition to teaching private lessons for the last 12 years, Rodney has also instructed students in saxophone, clarinet and jazz improvisation at the West Florida School of Music, Spivey School of Music, Booker T. Washington High School and is currently teaching in Pensacola at the Pensacola Music Company, Playground Music Center and he has a studio in Niceville and at UpBeat Music in Crestview Florida. A Little Bit About Me...

When my only son was born I was a caregiver to my mother who had suffered numerous strokes and was wheelchair bound. When he started school I became a full time substitute teacher and then enrolled in Florida's Teacher Professional Educator's Certification program.I am certified in k-6th and Integrated Middle School. I homeschooled my only son in the 9th and 10th grades due to a bully situation. I am very proud to say he is graduating this year from the University of Florida, Cum Laude in Biochemistry and math. He will continue on to med school in the fall. I love children and enjoy teaching. I have tutored numerous students of all ages and subjects and they too have graduated and moved on to wonderful careers.
