A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with both children and adults. I think that everyone has the ability to learn ,but teaching styles need to be geared toward the individual. Some seem to learn more through doing while others from lecture. Everyone has the potential to learn just at different paces. I believe that everyone has potential and it is our job as tutors and teachers to help bring it out. There are no stupid children just lazy teachers in my opinion. A Little Bit About Me...

Through my teaching experience, I have acquired the ability to be a teacher that will guide and motivate students to be enthusiastic learners. Learning a language is an ongoing and active process that requires students to think independently. Finally, in addition to my passion for teaching, I love working with young people and have a desire to continue to be a leader and example for them to follow.
I am currently teaching at the School of the Arts in North Charleston. This is my first year teaching and I am working towards my certification and toward my Masters in Education in Languages at the College of Charleston. I have been tutoring both English and Spanish since 2001 while I was working towards my degree in Spanish.
