I believe with the right supports all children can learn. I have tutored students with special needs. My goal is to help the child build on their strengths and believe they can improve on their weaknesses. My teaching style is to set objectives that challenge students and support them by building on what they already know. I am extremely patient and professional and well liked by my students.
With a degree in Special Education and a Masters in Education I have learned about how children learn best. I have a Florida Teacher's License for teaching ESE (Exceptional Students Education), Spanish, Elementary Education, and other subjects. I taught in the Ocala public school system. A Little Bit About Me...

In terms of teaching style, I believe that different students require different teaching styles and techniques and I attempt to vary and utilize those based upon the specific needs of the student. As a more specific comment related to the teaching of Accounting/Finance, I believe that modeling Accounting techniques works best with the majority of students and that the adage "practice makes perfect" is particularly applicable in the Accounting arena. I have encountered the term "demonstrator/personal model" within the framework of teaching styles and I believe that is a good description of my style.

As a TEFL teacher, I had the chance to experience new cultures and methodologies with relation to teaching. I taught all age ranges from 13 year old students with no English knowledge to older students with near native levels. I taught for several independent language schools in Prague, one Czech high school, and developed my own network list of clients that numbered close to 30. I taught all forms of English from speaking to writing to specific vocabulary.
