I love working with children and teaching them that they can do anything they put their minds to. I find tutoring very challenging and I love the reward. I am able to vary my teaching style to suit the child that I am working with. I worked as a tutor in an all boys detention center. I tutored the students in reading, math, english, and science. The boys were at varied levels. I have also worked as a teaching assistant at the University of South Florida. This included tutoring college level students in social sciences. Although I have no formal teaching or tutoring experience, I volunteered with elementary school students teaching basic math and english as an undergraduate.
