I enjoy adapting my personal teaching style to each individual specifically. I believe each child learns differently and I am very persistent in finding the right learning method for each child to make sure they fully comprehend the material. I am very patient, kind, and also a good listener. I believe these qualities are important in relating with the student to achieve a high level of learning. One of the reasons that I'm interested in tutoring is that, although I love working with individual students and small groups, I am less interested in classroom management, discipline and the rest of the duties that come along with substitute teaching. I am excellent at relating to students and absolutely can help those who are willing to learn. I also appreciate that different students learn in different ways and strongly believe that alternative methods should be explored and encouraged if it gets a student learning. I find helping students to be extremely gratifying and am passionate about it.
