I am very patient, easy-going, and encouraging. My teaching approach is creative and imaginative. I use methods to make lessons fun and enjoyable. I believe in using "the whole language approach," which helps to reinforce several skills at the same time. I am able to communicate my thoughts and ideas very clearly. My philosophy is that any subject can be learned, if it's presented in the correct way.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a non-traditional student, earning an Associates in Applied Science Degree majoring in Respiratory Therapy at Shawnee State University I excelled in both Science and English. I have written several essays, lab reports, and presentations and have been published in Guidepost Magazine. I have experience as a tutor and mentor from elementary (all subjects) to college level (science and English) students. I also have experience with developmentally challenged students.
I have specialize training in “The Gentle Teaching Method” pertaining to the developmentally challenged student. I have discovered that this method works with traditional learners as well.
