I have many ways of teaching. I like to make the experience rewarding, fun and educational. I participated in ROTC and majored in Math and Physics at the University of Colorado. After college, I joined the Air Force and worked in the airfield operations career field. After two years, I was chosen to become an instructor, where I fell in love with teaching. After separating from the military, I substitute taught for a year, primarily focusing on high school math. In 2007, I moved to Las Vegas, and I worked for a Tutoring Club. I taught math and my students ranged in age from 8 years through adult. I love teaching and working with students of all ages. In the beginning of the year (or when I get a new student), I take the time out to give the student a quiz that helps determine what learning style they are based off of seven different learning styles.
