I worked as a elementary teacher in Romania for about 13 years. I used to work differentiate and with a combination of classes. From the training I received, I learned methodics, how to teach math, science, physical education, arts, and develop other skills. I am patient and know child psychology. Trigonometry is one of my top subjects! I have used trigonometry (correctly) in almost every engineering, drafting, and physics problem for the past four years and more. Trigonometry can be learned by anyone if taught correctly and the motivation is there.

My experience as a tutor began with my younger sister. When she was a sophomore, then later a junior, I taught her Algebra 2 and, later, Functions Statistics and Trigonometry. She passed both classes, remaining on the honor roll. My next tutoring experience was in tutoring my fifth-grade cousin. At the end of two months, he won the math award at his school. Since then, I have tutored students in College Algebra, High School Algebra, Basic Math, and Junior High Algebra. I have enjoyed this experience immensely and have seen positive results.
From my experience as a math student, I have seen that the best approach to teaching math is to make it highly step-by-step. My teaching style is highly logical, making sure the student understands the process for themselves. I can teach using words or pictures and adjust the pace according to the ability of the student.

I believe that “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink,” but if it won’t drink, try putting salt in its oats. Everyone can learn, but to do any significant amount of learning they need to choose to do so. As an educator I can work with students to try and make the material such that they desire to learn about it. I find this easiest to do in a small group tutoring session, because you can see how the students are thinking and can cater towards how they learn best. In a large group it is a little harder to personalize a lesson or a project, but to a degree the class can be read and its particular struggles addressed. Learning requires work, and good teachers can motivate students to want to work for their education, and make that work manageable for them.
