Online tutor - Physics

My online tuition is based in modern e-learning tools, like Powerpoint presentations, Interactive Physics simulations, on line tests, virtual labs, videos etc.
I teach Physics since 1993. I have a private tuition center of my own in Athens (Greece) and started teaching online in 2009. My experience has to do with over 40000 teaching hours of all levels, containing IB courses, GCSE etc. Apart from teaching, I am an author (articles on Physics) in a well known scientific Greek magazine. I manage about 20 tutors and 100 students and their parents every year, so I face the problems and the goals of education.

I am currently a mid-career scientist who is looking to transition into the teaching profession. I have tutored high school and college students for several years in chemistry, algebra, physics, and geometry. I have a BS in Chemistry and have taken additional coursework in chemistry and education. A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate at Slippery Rock University, I was approached by my adviser and chair-person in Physics to tutor their physics classes. I accepted their offer and within the two years of tutoring physics I enjoyed helping fellow students learn and understand the concepts of physics. Also, while helping others I could use the knowledge I have learned in previous classes and gain a better understanding of the field of physics. I am currently in the 3-2 Physics/Engineering program between Penn State and Slippery Rock studying Electrical Engineering. Teaching is something that has always come natural to me. Whether its giving golf lessons out at the local country club, or teaching my younger siblings math and chemistry. It is something that I enjoy and I will persist until results are shown. My teaching style is to first observe, then diagnose flaws and work from there.
