I have worked with children for most of my life. For 5 years, I was the owner/operator of a NY State Licensed Family Day Care Home. For more than 15 yrs., I worked in the field of health education in Buffalo, NY. As Youth Director for my church I presented numerous workshops at church events and conferences for children of all ages. My 23 year old son has learning disabilities. We were told that it unlikely he'd progress any further than the 8th grade. That predication was unacceptable to me. My son has his A.S. degree.
