Math is a tool for success, not to frighten people.

During my years at MSU, I tutored for the math department both in their help lab and as one of their recommended private tutors. Also during my final year working toward my degree I worked at Sylvan teaching children from 2nd grade through 12th. During the summer of 2013, I had the opportunity to work toward a teacher certification by volunteering at Hirschi High School. After attaining my degree, I began working at Mathnasium. In Chicago, I served as the director of training for two years. Now that I am back in Wichita Falls, I am the assistant director of the local branch of Mathnasium. I continue to tutor private lessons and welcome the opportunity to be part of anyone's learning journey.

I'm an Industrial Engineer with an MBA. I've been working on the IT field by programming software and implementing huge business enterprise software. I took many maths, financials, physics, statistics, among other courses. During my college time, I become a tutor and then a teacher assistant. When I finished college I started working and focused on my career and building a family. I have two boys now. One day my older boy needed help with math and I was so happy I could help him. Then he always is looking for me for more math. He enjoyed math so much that decided to go to mechanical engineering school.
