I was so determined to get better at my learning disabilities that I decided to go to a tutor. I earned my Degree at BYU-Idaho where I majored in Math and minored in Health. While in college I taught some lower level math classes. I went on to work at a year round school working with troubled teens. I was able to learn many different teaching strategies to work with different personalities.

After graduating from Utah State, I taught 2nd grade for a year at a charter school. It was a good experience, but I wanted the chance to work with students in a variety of settings. During the past school year, I was hired as the Spanish Specialist at another charter school which has been another great experience.
