There have been numerous studies showing that different types of learning exist, and it is my belief that each individual student needs to be taught through adaptive teaching methodologies. I worked at Elohim Center tutoring the kids at an after school homework center in Hartsville, SC. I also worked at Hartsville School of Performing Arts for a short time period. However I provided assistance to the teachers and mentored the children that had potential, but didn't have the extra push in life to motivate them to be more. My experience began as a quest to become a doctor. I majored in Biologcal Sciences, but ended up teaching on the side to gain extra money while in school, and loved it. I have taught in a number of child develompent centers, and finally taught science once I finished my B.S. degree in Biological Sciences.
