My comments on tutoring College Algebra : I tutored this in college

I teach based on the students learning style. I find where the students are and gently bring them to where they should be. I am a great mathematics diagnostician.I love teaching and working with all students.I believe that all children can learn.I modify instruction to meet the needs of students.I use best practices in teaching to enable all students to achieve success.I am easy-going.I differentiate instruction to meet the learning styles of the students.
I have taught high school for 8 yrs with Memphis City Schools. I have tutored Elementary, high and college students for 30+ years. I have 3 students who have/are attending Harvard University. Two have graduated from Harvard Univ. I tutor students at my church and I also give ACT prep instructions.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a current student studying to get my certification as a CPA, I am driven to achieve a high level of knowledge and excellence in accounting. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and also pursuing a Master's in accounting and finance. In addition I have been in the Memphis City Schools system teaching for 10 years. I have gained a lot of knowledge using strategies to help students not only get better grades but a better understanding on how learning helps to improve their thinking. During the last 10 years I have helped people analyze tax returns, and also have a better understanding in various subjects.
