Musical is one of my top subjects! Music theory & songwriting are strong areas I have taught.

I have over 25 years experience teaching children & adults, including handicapped students, privately and in classroom settings.I am competent tutoring many scholastic areas including English, Math, Science, Art and social studies. As a student at Mass College of Liberal Arts, I was consistently on the Deans list with honors or high honors.I have been a music teacher since 1983,focusing on music theory, guitar & bass instruction, as well as songwriting and performance. I was more of an instructor than a teacher. I was a day camp counselor at Solway House parent/child resort in Saugerties N.Y. I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.
