After obtaining a Masters of Science with a Minor in Education, teaching has become my life pursuit. Even when working for a large Biotech firm, I have tutored for one year in public schools during my lunch hour. I currently hold a BA in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. In previous positions interpersonal, written and verbal communication, diversity, and professional skills have strengthen and will continue to do so; but nothing compared to enriching another’s life by way of education. Teaching has been something I have done a great deal of my life no matter what path I was on. When I was in nursing school, patient teaching was a strong point of mine. I love children. I am patient, kind and believe in utilizing intrinsic and extrinsic forms of lessons so that children develop a love of learning and see the short term rewards and long term rewards.My goal is to help a student succeed.
I am currently heading for a BS in Elementary Education while I am home schooling my children. I have home school grades 6-11.
