I graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in chemistry and alongside I had taken many biology classes as a prerequisite for pharmacy school.At UA I skip a couple of math and physics classes and got placed in Calculus II and Physics II. I attended pharmacy school for couples of years, where I took some advance biology classes and was very involve in group assignments and group study. As an instructor, I encourage my students to try something new and to make many mistakes so they can learn from them. I work hard with my students and try to get them to think outside of their current knowledge into new ideas and concepts. My style is extremely informal, with much practical discussions inserted to make learning understandable.

I have studied math to the Numerical Linear Algebra level, senior undergraduate/graduate college course. I have worked in engineering using the calculus and algebra in daily definitions of processes. I have worked as an Algebra tutor during 1998 to 1999 for Helping Hands Tutoring, in Dickson, Tennessee. During college, I worked as a tutor to other students in my class. I believe in learning to do things the "hard" way for math, making change, etc. Calculators are good for higher functions and after basics are learned. I try showing different ways of looking at something so the child will understand one way or another. I stress creativity and working things out for yourself as that is needed in life.
