A Little Bit About Me...

As an Education Director at a Boys & Girls Club, I taught in the non-traditional sense, through after school literature-enhancing programming of various kinds. I instructed K-12 students, and even parents and staff, on many different levels of achievement and ability, so I am very acquainted with diverse populations and accomodating their educational needs through creative tools and approaches.
Since my years as an undergraduate student, one of my passions has always been giving back to the community through tutoring and mentoring. If both are patient, resourceful, imaginative and caring the learning becomes less process and more flow. I took a few classes on teaching at a small community college while I was still in high school. I still am considering becoming a teacher after going back to school to complete my major in accounting.
