My teaching style varies on how I feel the student will learn best. Sometimes that may be through demonstration, others though sound. Some students read music better while others learn better through rote. I student taught for sixteen weeks from August 22nd, 2011 thru December 2nd, 2011. My first eight weeks I worked at a middle school and taught symphonic band, beginner band, and private lessons.
