I graduated from St. Lawrence University, a liberal arts foundation of learning that has served me judiciously on the metaphorical road of life. A wise man once said; to learn, read; to know, write. But to master, teach. Teach is one of those nifty reflexive verbs where the teacher and pupil are interchangeable. I try to inspire my students with real life stories about France. Having spent several years there, I have had many cultural experiences that I bring into the classroom. Students enjoy hearing stories that they can relate to. It helps them appreciate the language and culture when they feel that they can identify with it from stories as opposed to reading a textbook.
I have taught French for over 3 yrs. During that time I would like to think that I made a difference in some students' lives.
