A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Towson University, Towson, Maryland in 2010 and since then I am working as a research technician in University of Maryland, Baltimore in a genomic lab conducting research in DNA replication initiation. I am also working with micro arrays. Although I do not have any teaching experience I am confident than with the knowledge that I acquired through my degree and work experience, I can guide students towards success. First, in order for the students to best understand the material, I break it down to their level. For subjects like math, it is simple to develop a step by step method for the students to write down and follow. Once the students have mastered the steps they are motivated to continue with the material because it seems straightforward. It is also important to have the students connect to the material; if they understand how the information is used in every day life then they will become more excited and motivated to learn.
