A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching all types of Mathematics for 30 years from Elementary up to college. Presently, I am a full time high school math teacher teaching Algebra I and II and AP Calculus. This includes teaching students who are going to take ASVAB and SAT exams. I have been chose teacher of the year several years. For a long period of time, I have a very close to 100 percent passing Standard of Learning math Test including Ap Calculus College Exam. Aside from being a teacher, I also serve as Department Chairperson of the Math Department.

My experiences have spanned all ages and types of children's learning abilities. From a church setting, to a public school to a driver training car. For just over a decade I have been involved in some form of peer education or mentoring. As a senior in high school, I tutored students in mathematics and science. As an ACS Certified Chemist, I have been exposed to upper level mathematics, chemistry and physics, but am still required to use writings skills in preparing various reports and papers.
