I consider myself a very laid back person and am flexible in terms of addressing the student's concerns. I primarily work in subjects related to writing. My training is in philosophy, so I tend to focus on helping students develop strong reasoning/arguing skills and a precise voice. I find that these skills, which are heavily emphasized in philosophical writing, carry over well into all forms of academic writing. I have worked at the Salem State University writing center for the last two years. At the writing center, I work with students on papers in all subjects, from math to English.
