I am a registered professional structural engineer with 12 years of experience degining and analyzing buildings and homes for structural integrity. I have experience teaching at the college level as a student teacher (2 years) and as a college professor (for mechanical drafting) at Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma City campus. I think it is important to provide real-world examples to students who are learning the basic formulas and principles found in their text books.
