I have volunteered for the Watershed Education Network, a non-profit organization that educates young students about the importance of water quality and introduces them to stream monitoring science. Through studying adult learning styles, I discovered that studies show utilizing all facets of learning - writing, audio, visual, and hands on - leads to the highest levels of retention.
