I started tutoring in 7th grade back in 1976. I have been tutoring my own kids for over 14 years. I have been a Scout leader for over 9 years. I worked with boys ages 5 to 18 years of age. I have brought 2 learning disabled teens into my home to help them graduate High School. Both have gone on to be Certified Welders. I have presided over the Parental Acceptance Committee for both Fremont and all five of WSOS HeadStart Counties and all the centers in the School Districts of those counties. My lastest certificate was achieved a month ago in the Orton-Gillingham Reading, Writing, and Spelling course designed to assist students with these particular learning difficulties. I received 3 hours of Graduate credit from the University of Michigan for taking this course. I love working with a diversity of students.
