Experience Summary
As a college graduate and a teacher, I have aspired to help students from K through college to achieve their goals and to be the best they can be. Aditionally, I have taught all grades K-12 and have implemented Study skills courses for students in Grades 3-12. Currently I am a Math Specialist in a local public school system for students in grades K-5. Moreover, my 2 Masters degrees have helped me continue instuct at a higher level in Psychology, College Reading and Study Skills. Over the past 10 years, I have tutored students in Study Skills, Reading and Math.Additionally, I have tutored students for OAA, ACT and SAT.
Teaching Style
It is important to me that all children reach their best potential in whatever grade I am teaching. I have been in the teaching profession for 20 years and each day brings something different. Although, I came from a family of medical and science background, I have always wanted to teach and after 20 years, I am glad to say that I chose this profession. My goals are to meet each child at his/her learning level and provide the best education possible. I believe in varying my teaching style to suit each child thier cognitive abilities and grade level as it is my belief that all children can learn.
