Desktop Publishing is one of my top subjects! Expert+ I teach this at a college level. I use InDesign which is the industry standard. I have designed most everything possible: books, billboards, marketing materials, web sites.

I am passionate about teaching and spend most of my free time, creating curriculum that will excite and engage my students. At UCR, I was a "drop-in" tutor. This means that for hours of the day in a room with 6 chalkboards, I would teach math to any UCR student who wanted to learn and answer their questions. There was hardly any down time at all; I was constantly working. I had a team of tutors that I first worked with, then managed as a mentor in my last year. As a Mentor, I kept the team's understanding of the curriculum solid as a group effort. I show the student how to accomplish a task, then we accomplish a similar task together, and finally, the student shows me how to accomplish the task, with my guidance if necessary.
